We love this idea for a dessert...sweet pizza!!

Bake a plain sweet biscuit dough on a round pizza tray, then for your topping, you can use melted chocolate, nutella or cream cheese mixed with some icing sugar.  Finally, top it all off with any combination of dried fruits, nuts and fresh fruits.

Apple Cartwheels

Ingredients

1/4 cups peanut butter

2 teaspoons honey

1/2 cup chocolate chips

2 tablespoons sultanas

4 medium unpeeled red delicious apples, cored

Method

In a small bowl, combine peanut butter and honey, 

fold in chocolate chips and sultanas.

Fill centres of apples with peanut butter mixture 

and chill in the fridge for at least an hour.  

Cut into 1/2cm rings and enjoy!

Cheese Quesadillas with Guacamole

Ingredients

• olive oil cooking spray
• 6 flour tortillas
• 1/2 cup grated light cheddar cheese
• 
  

Guacamole

• 3 avocados, halved, roughly chopped
• 1 small red onion, finely chopped
• 1 long red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped
• 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
• 1/4 cup lime juice
• 
  
• Method
• 
  

Make guacamole:  roughly mash avocado in a bowl.  Add onion, chilli, coriander and lime juice.  Season with salt and pepper.  Stir to combine, set aside.

Spray a frying pan with oil.  Heat over medium heat and place 1 tortilla in the pan.  Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cheese over tortilla.  Top with another tortilla, spray top with oil.  Cook, pressing down firmly with a spatula, for 1-2 mins or until base is golden.  Place a plate over frying pan and turn over quesadilla.  Slide quesadilla, uncooked side down into pan.  Cook for 1-2 mins or until golden.  Transfer to plate, repeat with remaining tortillas and cheese.  

Cut quesadillas into wedges, serve with guacamole.

Do you like our 'turkey'!?!

For a recent children's farm-themed birthday party, we made this to serve popcorn in.

Simply shape a large brown paper bag - folding and sticking some of it up underneath, 

then using small paper bags stuffed with newspaper stick the drumsticks onto the body with double-sided tape...finish off with some folded white photocopy paper twisted around one end and cut into the folds to create the frills.  To serve, tear open the big bag!
