Jim jam time

It's near impossible to find PJ's for kids that aren't from a licenced brand and covered in cartoon characters, isn't it ... I think it's rather nice to put the kids to bed wearing something a little less, well ... busy! Something in calm and soothing and soft colours, that says "time for bed", rather than something loud that shouts "why not stay up and play!"

So I'm loving the look of the jammies being created by Milly & Jock Designs, who will be selling their range at Mathilda's Market in Canberra THIS Sunday 27 June!

Milly & Jock was started in 2009 by two sisters, Eve Munro and Linda Croker, from country New South Wales (the business is based in Cumnock, in the centre of the state). Between them, they have five children. Frustrated at being unable to find stylish and affordable children's clothing, particularly pyjamas, and with their flair for design, the sister's business was established.

If you live in a city, it's easy to forget not everyone lives in the big smoke. Linda and Eve's geographical isolation also proved to be a contributing factor in the establishment of the business. Making garments available to rural & urban families alike is a key focus for Milly & Jock Designs.

The Milly & Jock range is designed by Eve and Linda, and is made using the highest quality cotton. Their garments look good and last the distance, even if the kids DO forget they're wearing PJ's in soothing colours, and engage in some rough and tumble behaviour occasionally before bedtime!

The Milly & Jock range currently includes sleepwear and hair accessories in sizes for children aged 1 to 10. I'll leave you to browse some of their lovely hair elastics and headbands, too.

How cute and how perfect! I totally see your point and agree, putting kids in something soothing for bed makes sense!
