We’ve come a long way since our first market in Melbourne in 2007, but it’s always a pleasure to return to our first home at Hawthorn Town Hall for the next Mathilda’s Market in Melbourne.
We’ll be there bright and early with a coffee in hand for another instalment of Mathilda’s shopping TOMORROW August 22 at Hawthorn Town Hall (360 Burwood Road, Hawthorn), from 9am to 1pm. We’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces!
On offer, there will be plenty of inspirational design for little ones plus delicious food and drink, worthy of the fashion and food capital. Our fantastic stallholders are already looking forward to another blockbusting event, with some of the home-grown highlights. You can see them all here!
With such an enticing array of boutique wares for babies and kids and beautifully handcrafted items that you won’t find anywhere else, we guarantee you won’t be leaving empty handed!
And don’t forget with Father’s Day just around the corner, you might just find some inspiration for the perfect gift for a new or recent Dad.
I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
Many thanks

Hello Brisbane, we’re betting on another shopping extravaganza TOMORROW
We’re excited to be throwing open the doors of The Tote and the St Leger Stand at the picturesque Brisbane Racing Club at Eagle Farm, for another instalment of Mathilda’s magic TOMORROW August 14, from 9am to 1pm.
Mathilda’s Market has become one of Brisbane’s favourite shopping events, and we think it’s the perfect venue to catch up with friends, soak up the atmosphere, and browse the heavenly offerings from over 70 beautiful stalls, brimming with unique clothing, accessories, homewares and toys for kids and babies.
We’re hoping the sun will be out, so that we can make the most of the sumptuous surroundings, and enjoy the activities on the lawn where there will be cafĂ© seating, mouth-watering food and drink, and entertainment to keep the kids smiling.
As ever our amazing stallholders are gearing up for another special event, and we have a tempting mix of handpicked local artists, designers and dressmakers.
All the stalls will be set up inside so you can shop up a storm whatever the weather, and there is heaps of free parking so you can pile your car high with gorgeous goodies. Click here to take a sneak peak and browse the stallholders, so that you can make a beeline for your favourites on the day.
See you tomorrow,
Cheers Anne x

Thank you!
What a fabulous day ... thank you everyone for coming to our Sydney Mathilda's Market today. The products on display were stunning as always, the stall holders are such a lovely bunch and the shoppers seemed to enjoy ... well ... shopping.
I did some shopping myself, I bought a gorgeous clip for my daughter Mathilda (from a brand new amazing company called Castlebox Melbourne), but ended up wearing it myself (sorry Tilly). And of course I couldn't resist buying a couple of pieces from the ladies at Rowantree Design. Sorry no photos of my purchases this time! Aran Anderson Photography joined us again, taking photos of the beautiful stalls, and here are some snaps in case you missed it! Hope to see you next time.

Some cool boys shorts by Boo Hoo Baby
Mel from Paperklip created the gorgeous snowflakes in the entry! And of course her stall is always a big attraction! Although Mel usually focuses on all things paper, today she had these fun little fish on her table!
And more pretty things .... (I had to resist so much not to buy all these fun rolls of sticky tape, my daughter Tilly loves art & craft, so this would be heaven for her).
Thanks everyone! Have a fantastic week ahead and see you on Saturday at Mahtilda's Market in Brisbane!
Cheers

We're back! This Sunday at Lane Cove!
Hello everyone
Well I apologise for our Blog holiday, but we’ve had some big things happen behind the scenes ... For a start we have a lovely new PR guru on board, who will make sure that Mathilda’s Market gets the all the fabulous editorial it deserves! Her name is Jenny Stevens and she comes with a whole lot of the most suitable experience, so we just can’t wait to see the results. We’ve also been busy with planning our 2011 dates, and will share them with you soon! And finally I am excited to announce that the Baby & Kids Market that I launched in 2003 has recently joined forces with Kidspot. So all in all we’ve been busy bees and are now ready to focus on the second half of this great year.
This Sunday we’re opening our doors in Lane Cove, and I can’t wait! St Ignatius College is a stunning location and this Market always brings in a high calibre of stall holders. Why don’t you have a look who is going to be your favourite pick for the day, just click here.
Please note that we NO longer provide EFTPOS facilities at our Markets, so please make sure to bring cash!
